The Bike

Riding from Hanoi to Ninh Binh.

Arriving in Ninh Binh. So tired from the traffic and the heat!

Ninh Binh is gorgeous.

Ninh Binh

Even better when viewed from up high.

I took a boat ride on the river in Trang An. It was delightful. This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to.

Victoria arrives!

She is every bit as cool as I thought she would be.

Did I mention that Ninh Binh was simply gorgeous?

We woke up bright and early to hit the road to Vinh.

Leaving Dong Hoi.

The roads were boring a lot of times. The downside of having to ride down major highways.

This restaurant in Dong Hoi was the coolest.

Stopped for a sobering look at the Vinh Moc tunnels.

Hot and bedraggled after a long hot walk in motorcycling boots. Glad to hit the road again.

What do I spy?

A dragon!

The best sight on this trip.

The much awaited Hai Van pass – finally!

The road was a dream. And look at the view from the top!

The dragon bridge in Da Nang!

Kids everywhere are the best part of the journey.

We reached the end of the world.

These windmills were spooky.

Dancing a jig at the Crazy House in Dalat.
